Sleep for better health

A Straits Times report last year, stated "Fighting 'coronasomnia': More in Singapore seeking help for insomnia amid Covid 19 pandemic.  "Coronasomnia; the amalgamation of the words "coronavirus" and "insomnia".

According to Sleep Foundation, Coronasomnia is characterized by an increase in sleep problems during the pandemic with symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. Traditionally, insomnia is often linked to anxiety and depression. However, the symptoms of Coronasomnia started during the pandemic. The reason being, loss of daily routine, too much media consumption, and the stressors were stated as "FED-UP".

During this time, many clients have indicated their symptoms of coronasomnia as follow:

difficulty in falling asleep and staying asleep.
